- Location: Nishinomiya, Japan
I was born in upstate New York, but was an army brat, so lived in 5 different states. I have been in Japan around 6 years, but only in Kansai for less than a year. Please teach me Kansai-ben! Before Kansai, I spent a few years teaching in Hokkaido.

Yeah, sorry everyone, "orangepost" was the winner. This picture was indeed taken in Peru...at Machu Picchu. I can't remember if the animal is an alpaca or a llama, as they are almost the same. Actually, one difference is that alpaca are edible! I ate it a couple times while in Peru, but the taste was pretty average. Good work orangepost!
